Well, dozens of tweets later, and a few hundred retweets later (thank you!) we're happy to say that we have ourselves a winner! Again thank you to everyone who entered and double thank you to those of you out there that faithfully retweeted us day after day.

KIND WORDS FROM A HAPPY CUSTOMER
The following letter was sent to us from Shawn Hendrix. Shawn is the Executive Producer at Turtle Entertainment America - ESL. Thanks Shawn!
When I was tasked with lighting my new production studio I had no idea that I would be going down a road to 80 hours of research and testing. I knew I didn't want traditional tungsten lights. So I just assumed that I would be using fluorescent fixtures from the big boys on set - Kino Flo. The one thing I thought I knew about LEDs was that they were either: "Expensive and Good" or "Cheap and Really Bad." This would prove to be true as I acquired units from China and from the leaders in the industry. I found out quickly what I wanted was a CRI minimum of 95 which meant... Expensive. That was until I stumbled across a very well designed site that claimed to have 95 CRI Lights at a price that I could afford. I thought it too good to be true so I called up and asked to test their light and they happily sent one my way.
it took me about 5 minutes in a dark room with many of the lights I was considering to realize I would be lighting my entire set with the well built, well equipped and amazingly white lights.
So I sat down to place the order and was amazed at the options. I was able to build my ultimate portable interview kit for my ENG team. It included the LED1000 Spot, the LED1000 Flood, and 2 LED500 Spots. This kit makes for amazing looking footage every time. The v-mount plate means we never need to worry about stringing out power cables and looking for outlets. Another big bonus was that they came with a stand and an amazingly durable bag that holds the light, barn doors, power supply, and batteries. Done!
Next was my Primary set. I went with a Fresnel1000 for my primary key light. The light is so easy to shape and lets me keep the light where I want it. The 2 fill lights were the LED2000 which give off such a nice soft fill. The hair lights are 2 LED1000 spots, These are KILLER hair lights - amazing separation. It was that simple, and now I have amazing looking light AND budget to spare.
For my secondary set which is much smaller I just went with 2 LED2000 spots for Key and 2 LED1000 Spots for Separation.
I love the fact that they have the studio models that have DMX controls and the Pro Model that have dimmers and battery plates. I love the fact that my energy bill will be greatly reduced and my talent will need a lot less powder. Plus, I love the fact that they had everything I needed for the right price. The lights sold me...but it's the customer service and support keeps me coming back for more. This is why my studio is 100% Dracast.
